The Faculty of Applied Economics of the University of Antwerp is seeking quantitatively oriented candidates for the following full-time position in the Department of Environment, Technology and Technology Management
Doctoral student in the area of statistical design of industrial experiments for quality improvement and product innovation
Project description
Modern products and processes are increasingly complex, which makes it is difficult to determine optimal product formulations and to find optimal settings for production processes. In this research project, we will study methods to construct informative experiments to speed up the optimization of products and processes. In particular, we will develop a stratum-by-stratum approach for constructing multi-stratum designs using non-regular orthogonal designs.
