The Evolutionary Software and Optimisation Group at Um Al Quraa has an open position for a Research Associate. Joining us would support gaining valuable post-graduate experience at one of the most prestigious research groups in the Kingdom, in the company of an energetic group who are inspired by evolution. Our agenda, in general, spans theoretical, technology and applications research as it applies to Evolutionary Computation. Our group uses algorithms based on natural evolution principles to solve a wide range of problems, which may not be solvable by standard techniques. ??Our research is aimed at serving users and stakeholders with information technology in the Kingdom, including government agencies, industry and universities. We are looking for highly motivated, independent but team-oriented researcher, with strong expertise in evolutionary computation and data mining. ??The successful candidate will join the Dr. Ahmed Kattan’s email at email@example.com
-Apply Surrogate Models to solve real-World Problems.
-Study and Improve Evolutionary Computation (GA, GP, PSO, EP and ES).
-Apply Evolutionary Computation to solve real-World Problems.
-Write grants proposals.
-Write conference and journal papers.
-Teach undergraduate courses.
– Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, with a particular emphasis on evolutionary computation and data mining.
-Good publication record.
-Good programing skills.
-Proven ability to work with a diverse group of people.
-Proven team capabilities.
